With a record number of women and children experiencing homelessness, the institutionalized systemic causes which have created an unequal, unjust, and unproportionate impact on families of color must be examined, understood, and transformed for long-lasting change. Breaking down barriers and extending universal access to life-changing resources and services will not only positively impact the lives of our community’s most vulnerable, but it can end generational cycles of trauma, abuse, poverty, and homelessness.
