Solutions to ending and preventing homelessness are not simple, but one thing is evident: the fight against homelessness calls for a united front. To achieve our mission of advancing the status of women and children experiencing homelessness, WEP aims to engage the public, government officials, and policy makers – both locally and nationally – by raising awareness, breaking down barriers and misconceptions, and championing for universal access to life-changing resources and services which will not only positively impact the lives of women and children who are the most vulnerable in our communities, but can end generational cycles of trauma, abuse, poverty, and homelessness.
