Underrepresented in leadership positions, the voices and needs of women have repeatedly gone unheard. Advancing gender equality, an increase in women political participation and inclusion will not only challenge structures which undermine the status of women, but will allow women with lived experience to have direct input in the formation of laws and policies which unequivocally impact them.
